Technical description :
Compliance with standards
- The EVEC whole-body vibration dosimeter has been developed in partnership with INRS (Institut National de Recherche et de Sécurité, France) under the agreement No.5061249. INRS has verified that this device can be used for whole-body vibration exposure measurements.
- Acceptance testing has been carried out according to EN ISO 8041:2005,
section 12. - Each manufactured device is tested according to ISO8041:2005, section 13
Frequency Weightings
- Wd along X and Y axis
- Wk along Z axis
- Those frequency weightings conform to ISO2631 which is the standard referred to for whole-body vibration exposure measurements
Measurement Results
- Display resolution for RMS weighted accelerations: 0.01m/s2
- Maximum error on RMS weighted accelerations over a 8-hour period: 0.05m/s2
