Semi-automatic defibrillator

  • Training defibrillator
  • Training electrodes
  • Training Scenarios

Technical description :

The training defibrillator can not be used to defibrillate patients.

A remote control is provided with the stand-alone training DAE that allows the trainer to control the training exercises and remote functions of the AED.

A pair of adult training electrodes (DDP-101TR) is provided with the training AED.

Several scenarios available:

  • VF (Ventricular Fibrillation) that converts to a non-shockable rhythm (normal sinus rhythm) after the first shock. This scenario is based on the training scenario of the American Heart Association and allows for a quick overview and demonstration of the operation of the AED.
  • Continuous non-shockable rhythm.
  • The indication "Check the electrodes" until the electrodes are disconnected and reconnected later (to simulate the replacement of the electrodes) followed by a VF that converts after the first shock into a non-shockable rhythm (rhythm normal sinusoidal).
  • VF which converts after the second shock into a non-shockable rhythm (normal non-normal nusoidal rhythm).
  • Persistent non-convertible VF.
  • Electrodes not applied to the patient. This scenario is recommended as the default scenario when using the remote control. The AED will instruct the student to apply the electrodes to the manikin and the instructor will be able to manually select the rhythm simulations (such as RNS and VF) or any other training scenario using the remote control. 5.6.
